Daniel Clark

I was educated in Nairn and went on to work in an engineering environment. In my years of employment I have always had an eye for detail and been a perfectionist. I have been creative all my life but it is only in recent years I have had the time to pursue my passion for art and history.

I am a keen amateur photographer and I am inspired by everything around the beautiful countryside especially around the Moray Firth. While out walking my three dogs I always have a camera at hand to capture nature and historic buildings which I later use as a starting point for my screen prints.

I am also a self taught wood turner and stick maker and my creativity is influenced by my surroundings in the Moray Firth. I have been described as being innovative and having an affinity with nature. It is only in the last year having had the confidence to call myself an artist.
