Highland Print Studio is an open-access production facility in the heart of Inverness. The organisation was established in 1985 and is a registered charity and limited company. HPS specialises in printmaking; housing centuries old artistic techniques, such as etching, woodcut and lithography, alongside digital imaging and photographic facilities. Encompassing a dynamic creative environment where beginners can use the same high-grade facility and interact with professional Scottish and international artists, all with the shared purpose of artistic development and production. The Studio is currently recruiting for the following posts:

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CO-ORDINATOR

As the Business Development Co-ordinator it is vital to spearhead the print studio’s business development by devising and executing robust sales, marketing, and communication strategies. Utilising a blend of traditional and digital tools, both internal and external, including internet and social media platforms, to effectively showcase the organisation’s offerings and activities. Taking charge of product and service sales, this role plays a pivotal role in customer relations, ensuring a front-facing approach to enhance customer engagement and satisfaction.

Salary: £29,047.20 – £32,359.60 (pro-rata 35hrs)

Hours: 28 (including alternate weekends and occasional evenings)

TECHNICIAN

As the Technician your primary objective is to ensure the smooth, safe, and effective operation of the Studio environment. You will be committed to implementing maintenance and improvement initiatives that align closely with the company’s aims, objectives, and Artistic Policies. With a strong focus on managing the technical aspects of the studio to maintain high standards of functionality and safety, while also fostering an environment conducive to artistic innovation and productivity. The responsibilities include supporting the studio’s technical needs, ensuring equipment and facilities are well-maintained and upgraded as necessary, contributing significantly to the studio’s continuous improvement and to establish a solid foundation that enhances operational excellence.

Salary: £26,335.40 – £28,956.20 (pro-rata 35hrs)

ADMINISTRATOR

The role of the Administrator is to manage the day-to-day administration and financial operations of Highland Print Studio. The role involves overseeing front desk operations, handling general inquiries, and assisting customers with purchases of print stock, classes, and merchandise. Additionally, the position entails managing finance-related tasks, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting financial reporting and analysis. This dual-focus role aims to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service while maintaining financial integrity and supporting the organisation’s artistic endeavours.

Salary: £23,587.20 – £25,953.20 (pro-rata 35hrs)
