Photoplate Lithography – Beginners/Refreshers
Photolithography revolves around the concept of rejection. Oil and water do not mix; the core principle of lithography. Hand drawn images are photo exposed onto plates, and then the alchemy of litho inking takes place.
On this weekend course you will explore the possibilities of photo-plate lithography as an interesting way of creating prints and layering images. Learn how to prepare hand drawn artwork, expose and develop it onto photo lithography plates, experiment with mixing inks and printing a two-colour print in a small edition.
