Over two days, we ran two screenprinting workshops organised by Highland Youth Arts Hub (HYAH) for young people.
Hugh Miller was a lifelong writer and storyteller, keen fossil collector – and much more! Inspired by Hugh Millers work, HYAH offered two printmaking workshops for local young people.
On 31 July 2018, we had a group of primary 5 – 7 in the Studio creating such superb prints. They all had such an amazing time and came up with such beautiful and unique screen prints! The next day, we had a group of secondary students ranging from S1-S3. Again, they all had a great time and great beautiful.
The work they created was displayed to the public on August 17 2018 as part of the LIVE! / BEÒ festival.
