On Wednesday 14 August 2019, Studio Manager, John McNaught, made his way down to Oban to hang up our Throwup20.18 exhibition in the Oban Communities Trust – The Rockfield Centre. The voice of Shinty, Hugh Dan MacLennan, delivered two spectacular talks. One was on the Shinty Memories Project, which aims to use sport as a vehicle to help those living with dementia, or even poor mental health. The second one was on the effects that both the World Wars had on the Shinty community.

Having the exhibition up on the walls was a great accompaniment to both talks, and we look forward to more opportunities to work with Hugh Dan. The exhibition was up at Rockfield until Sunday 18 August, to celebrate Oban hosting the MacAuley Cup Final.
